Lower Costs, Greater Economic Opportunity

Georgia's economy should work for the people who live and work here. But for too many families, rising costs make it harder to get ahead, save for the future, and enjoy the opportunities they've worked hard to create.

We can do better.

I want to help build an economy where hard work is rewarded, families can keep more of what they earn, and our communities have the resources they need to thrive.

That means listening to the economic challenges facing our neighbors, pursuing practical solutions, and making sure we're using taxpayer dollars responsibly.

Where I'll focus my efforts:

  • Address rising costs that put pressure on household budgets.

  • Support a state Earned Income Tax Credit to help working families keep more of their earnings.

  • Examine property tax policies and development incentives to identify opportunities for fair, predictable tax relief while protecting essential public services.

  • Explore approaches to housing costs and neighborhood stability, including the effects of large-scale corporate ownership of residential properties.

  • Strengthen economic opportunity through education, workforce development, and support for small businesses.

  • Promote fiscal accountability by evaluating public programs and investing in solutions that deliver meaningful results.

A strong economy isn't measured only by business growth or economic indicators. It's measured by whether people can build stable lives, support their families, and look toward the future with confidence.
