Healthcare Access: Better Care, Greater Accountability

Every Georgian deserves access to quality, affordable healthcare. Yet too many families face rising costs, difficulty finding providers, and a healthcare system that can be frustrating and complicated to navigate.

We can do better.

I'll work to improve access to preventive care, primary care, and mental health services while addressing the unpredictable costs that put additional pressure on families.

Earlier in my career, I worked as a Program Analyst at the Office of Inspector General, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where I evaluated federal healthcare programs and examined how public resources were being used. That experience reinforced the importance of identifying fraud, waste, and abuse, measuring results, and holding government accountable.

Today, I lead research teams that use evidence and real-world experiences to understand problems and improve outcomes. I'll bring that same approach to the Georgia legislature.

Where I'll focus my efforts:

  • Improve access to preventive, primary, and mental healthcare.

  • Address healthcare costs that strain household budgets.

  • Strengthen oversight and accountability for public healthcare programs.

  • Evaluate healthcare policies to improve coverage, access, quality, and outcomes for Georgia families.

Good healthcare policy requires more than good intentions. It requires listening to people, understanding what's working and what isn't, and making responsible decisions with taxpayer dollars.
